Social Value Cosultancy has been working with RLB for over 5 years to support them to understand their social impact and social value so that they can offer this service to their clients.

Part of Social Value Consultancy's role has been to develop their Socal Value Policy, up-skill the leadership team on Social Value and embed Social Value as part of a service line for clients. In 2022/2023, RLB generated £212m Corporate Social Value which represents a Return on Investment of £2.40 for every £1 invested.
One one of their main portfolios of investments is Project Utopia which consists of student accommodation 3,331 units including retail and leisure spaces that have created a student community atttracting inward investment and placemaking. It is estmated that the Harrison Street Utopia investment Portfolio will deliver £332m social value over the next 5 years which has already added a significant uplift in the commercial value of the investment in the PBSA.
